On Tuesday, I rode my bike to R&E Cycles, and left it with them for packing and shipping. They installed a new chain and middle chainring, checked over all the bolts, etc., and packed it in a big box. Today UPS picked it up, and it will start making its way across the country.

It should arrive at Harris Cyclery next Wednesday. So I guess if I ever want to ride it again, I’d better get on the flight next Wednesday so I can pick it up at the shop and ride it back to Seattle.

Great to see that you are about to fly East. Have some chowda in Beantown, dip your wheel in the Atlantic, then enjoy your launch. – Dave Galvin (Seattle)
Safe travels, Judy, and have a wonderful time! I look forward to reading your blog and catching up with you once you make your way back to Seattle.
I’m excited for you! What a great adventure. Happy trails!
Thanks!
