In Glendive, my Warmshowers host took me to Makoshika State Park, which is just outside of Glendive. The badlands here are amazing!
Rest day in Glendive tomorrow and then to Williston later in the day.

Awesome photos. Claire and I loved seeing the Badlands last summer, different area from where you are. Clearly remember feeling vulnerable in the heat and desolation as we hiked. Beautiful and scary. Glad to hear you found more good people along the way.
