Ferry across the St. Clair River from Sombra, Ontario, to Marine City.
Definitely not like the Washington State ferries! Only $2 for me and the bike. Easy to get through the booth and back into US.
I really enjoyed riding in Ontario. It is obvious that they have done a lot to encourage cycling, especially in the Niagara area.
Everyone I met was friendly and helpful. The only downside was the strong wind from the southwest and west the last couple of days. Even though I was riding into the wind, the temperature was only on the 60s and low 70s, so that was nice. I just took it slow and got through ok.
The weather today was perfect for riding- sunny, about 70 degrees and mostly light winds. Tomorrow a detour to the bike shop in Port Huron, and then start heading west.
